Albino Congo Tetra

This fish's ancestors lived in the Congo River Basin in Africa, but this fish was spawned and raised on a famous fish farm, and Congo Tetras now live in aquariums throughout most of the world. 

What We Like About This Fish:

• Elegant coloration and finnage, especially in males
• Peaceful disposition with fish and peaceful invertebrates
• Very active and noticeable fish in any aquarium
• Hardy and adaptable

RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: 

• Temperature:  23° - 28° C
• pH:  6.0 - 7.5 (more acidic water is preferred)

CARE GUIDELINES:

• Diet:  Omnivorous.  Will  easily accept high quality dry, frozen, and live foods
• Social behavior:  Peaceful, schooling/shoaling.
• Origin:  Tank-raised, but indigenous to Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa
• Average adult size:  Males - 3.2 inches (8 cm), Females - 2.4 inches (6 cm)
